Community Rules

1. Please be respectful to others. I believe it should go without saying: "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." (Matt 7:12). This blog is here for learning not bashing, so please be respectful to others. There is a very real chance that some of the people visiting this blog could very well be unsaved. It is our desire that they find here the true Spirit of Christian Charity. Therefore, because we wish to see those without Christ come to a saving knowledge of Him, we will without exception ban anyone that violates this tenet. We all have our own opinions concerning certain things, and we encourage healthy debate. But when that debate degenerates into name calling or personal insults or attacks, the person in violation will be removed permanently from this community and site.

2. This is not a soap box for promoting heresy. Any violation of or attack on the fundamentals of the faith by anyone will result in that person's removal from this community and site. For a list of the fundamentals please see our welcome post entitled: "Begin Here".

3. Enjoy Christian fellowship with like-minded brethren.

4. This is NOT the place for politics. We are desirous to reach the world with the gospel of Christ. And far too often, the realm of politics has become a point of unnecessary contention to the extent it dishonors Christ. The Apostle Paul states in 1 Cor 9:19-25, "For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. 20And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; 21To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. 22To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 23And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. 24Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible." Remember, you are not your own, you were bought with a price. We are either drawing men to Christ, or we are scattering them abroad.
