Untold Millenniums ago, a war broke out in the third heaven. It was not a conventional war that men fight on earth between countries using guns, artillery, and missiles. This is the greatest war ever fought but it wasn’t a physical war between flesh and blood but a spiritual war. A war between authority and rebellion, good and evil, death and life, between Almighty God and Lucifer the anointed cherub. God prevailed and both Lucifer and the angels that followed him were cast out.

This war broke out in the third heaven. The first heaven is where the birds soar, the second heaven is where the stars shine, the third heaven is where Almighty God sits. It started before this present earth’s creation in Genesis 1 and has raged till today. Lucifer initiated this battle because of his pride and desire to be worshipped and be like God. No matter if you like it or not you are a part of this battle. You must pick a side. Will you choose Jesus and life or Satan and death?

Stage One

The PAST World

DESTROYED By The FLOOD

Genesis 6

I. It Was A CREATED World.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1

Bless your heart if you were taught or believe the earth and man “evolved”. Evolution is a damnable heresy from the University of Satan. It is based in paganism and the occult. Satan and his demonic hoard influence the minds of men today just as in in Noah’s day. To believe it means:

1. You Have A SCRIPTURAL Problem.

To believe evolution means you deny the truth of the word of God. If Genesis 1:1 is not true then there is no Creator God and makes the entire Bible a lie. But the Bible plainly teaches that God spoke the heaven and earth into existence.

2. You Have A SALVATION Problem.

If you cannot believe Genesis 1:1 then how can you believe John 3:16? If you don’t believe God is the Creator how can you believe in Christ and His cross? Evolution, started by Charles Darwin has achieved great success because it gives people a way to explain the universe without God. You see the devil will use every trick there is make you disbelieve the Bible.

3. You Have A SOCIEITAL Problem.

You know what the 3 worst behavior problems in schools were in the 1950’s? Compare these to now:

1. Chewing Gum.

2. Running in the halls.

3. Getting out of line.

In the 1950’s people feared God and they went to church. There was respect for parents and respect for the law. They loved the Lord and honored the Ten Commandments and they were even posted on the classroom walls. There was very little crime, looting, stealing, and it was a Godfearing society. If you teach the young they evolved from a monkey, and remove the Bible from schools, they will act like one. Atheists believe time plus chance turned frogs into Harvard professors.

II. It WAS A CORRUPTED World.

“The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.”

Genesis 6:11-12

1. There Was SPIRITUAL DECLINE.

“It came to pass, when men began to multiply….” The ungodly Cainite line ruled the day but the linage of Seth carried the torch of God’s testimony as the world grew more and more evil. The Cainites were city builders, inventers, and shaped the world’s thoughts and opinions. They had no use for God and by the time of the flood there were only eight people that would walk up the gang plank of faith onto the ark.

2. There Was SHAMELESS DEPRAVITY.

Atheism, the occult, and materialism filled the spiritual vacuum in the hearts of men. Jesus said “they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage”, and big cities became breeding grounds for crime and corruption. Violence and murder filled the earth so much that God decided to bring the flood.

3. There Was STRONG DELUSION.

Jesus said in Matthew 24:39, that they “knew not before the flood came,” because they were ignorant of God and His coming judgment. They were deceived just like today lost friend!

III. It Was A CONDEMNED World.

“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually…...And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth,

Then Noah came. At God’s command, he began to build the ark. A time was set for 120 years, the time it took Noah to build the ark, and preach to the lost world. The ark was a sign of judgment and sure enough the flood came. Jesus warns in Matthew 24, that when the earth becomes wicked as in the “days of Noah”, He will come again!

The PRESENT World

DESTINED For FIRE

2 Peter 3:4-13

A. Todays World Is FILLED With SCOFFERS.

“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers,…..And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” 3:3a,4

My friend, Jesus came right on time the first time and He will come right on time the second time. God’s word is never wrong and His promises are always kept! Yet the mass of people ignore God’s Word, abuse His people, resist the Holy Spirit and act and live as if there is no God. But just as He translated Enoch He will translate His church to heaven. Then the Christ rejecting scoffers will experience the fire of judgement. If you have never trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior the day of God’s grace is running its course. Remember:

TRUST JESUS TODAY BECAUSE

ETERNITY IS TOO LONG TO BE WRONG!

B. Todays World Is FILTHY And SINFUL.

“….walking after their own lusts," 2 Peter 3:2b

1. We Live In A Day Of APOSTASY.

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” 1 Timothy 4:1

As the world nears the rapture and Great Tribulation there is a widespread turning from the truth. People are embracing false religions and secular philosophies. The once great Christian ethic in society is being replaced by secularism and is quickly turning into spiritism and the occult. Humanists want a science based “religion” in which man is his own God. They say they will abolish all war and poverty as they build a one world economic system and government. They believe in using genetic engineering and all this is preparing the world for the coming Antichrist.

2. We Live In A Day Of ABOMINATIONS.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” 2 Timothy 3:1

A. People without CHARACTER.

Men will be; “lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy” 3:2

B. People Without CONVICTION.

Men will be; “Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.” 3:3

C. People Without CONSCIENCE.

Also; “Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more that lovers of God.” 3:4

It is a time of self-love and love of money. People are haughty, rude, arrogant, abusive, Children do not respect parents and authority. No reverence to God, no natural affection for their offspring and unnatural sex between men and also the women. There is a hatred for good and the days are marked by victimhood, lack of values, and violence.

3. We Live In A Day Of APATHY.

We are living in the last church age called Laodicea. Revelation 3:14-22. The Lord Jesus is kept outside of this church. People do not receive Him as Lord nor deny Him. They don’t teach the Jesus that judged the Pharisees or whipped the moneychangers in the temple. They teach about Heaven but not about the Lake of Fire. They do not teach the Jesus that judges sin but only His miracles. Their Jesus is the lamb but not the lion. He was crucified but not His coming back to judge the world in righteousness! They are not born again believers but religious people without hope.

C. Todays World FACING A SENTENCE.

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 3:10

It is incredible that 2000 years ago an uneducated fisherman the Apostle Peter wrote into the Bible the nuclear age! It was the Holy Spirit that taught him. The splitting of atoms will set off a fervent heat and a great noise. This occurs at the day of the Lord, unexpectantly beginning (as a thief) and ending at the conclusion of the Millennium with the destruction of the heavens and earth.

1. No More DANGER. No more wars, murder v8

2. No More DISEASE. No pain, hospitals v4

3. No More DISASTERS. No hurricanes, fires v4

4. No More DEATH. No funerals, tombstones v4

5. No More DEVIL. No tempter, deceiver v10

6. No More DENIERS. No haters, mockers v27

The promised world will bring about a new heaven and earth and it will be perfect! The curse of sin and death will be gone. Time will be no more and God will wipe the tears from our eyes! And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Rev. 21:2 There will be no need of the sun or moon because the Lord Jesus will be the light!

We invite you to escape this wicked world system under the thumb of Satan. Today you can be born again by faith alone, by grace alone, by Christ alone. Simply receive the gift of God through Jesus Christ. Pray to Him right now….”Dear Jesus, I believe you are the sinless Lamb of God that died for my sins on the cross, That God the Father raised You from the dead, and You are alive in heaven. I ask You to forgive me and be my Savior.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
